Little Einsteins On Recycling

Equity, my ass!

Last Thursday, while I savored patiently opening idling of my pay stub, I thought back to all those doctors who, in December we had a small Babou because their pay rise was not big enough. Pov 'p'tits doctors.

Fortunately, we, we had the equity! Adjusting our salaries, already thin at an acceptable average. One step closer to the female-dominated occupations, as we were told. And it was just last Thursday that this was the upgrade of wages according to the ruling on pay equity.

Result: I was plus a large 4 bucks.

Wow!

'ttention Ronald j'me spoils with a Big Mac! And with the feedback provided at the end of March, I'm definitely going to give me a boot and more!

PS: Think again, I do not do this job for the money! Who would anyway? But at some point, there's limits to take the holy people to the caves!

Ecoli More Condition_symptoms

how to ... Guess who!

There are now so long as I live my life in Montreal has become a habit. 13 years in metro-boulot-dodo. When I started, I nosed, I tried, I discovered ... Streets, bars, restaurants, shops. And then, in the lot, I found my happiness, I became a regular, redundancy, a parasite, an old hand. In this reassuring routine, I forgot the diversity and scope of Montreal. So on a beautiful Saturday and windy, we say, fret , I decided to go to meet a corner from Montreal to me unknown. A corner dubious reputation, not always transparent, which I heard over and over again. I named: Plaza St. Hubert .
So I walked a big fat three minutes to find myself at the corner of Bélanger and St. Hubert. Like any good shopping center, because it is one despite appearances, there is a McDonalds, a Jean Coutu, a hardware store X and Y a pet At first glance, it does not look. If the glass roof to protect pedestrians is handy, it does not chic to the place. In addition, the gray day and the muddy snow do not help not.

Plaza Saint-Hubert was created in the late 50s, tactical Street merchants to combat large competitors already fierce. One of my aunts strong bearing on the shopping I've already talked about the years of the annals Plez . At that time, it is a cultural and economic well-attended at all Francophone Montreal. Claude Blanchard them laugh, Richard and Michelle Fernand Gignac to sing. We keep hearing about the Plaza CFTM-10; issue Ten out of ten, led by Réal Giguère, offers prices from the best shops in this street.

All this gave a time. In 1984, in a clear aim to revamp the eyes of a customer who runs out of steam, merchants of Plez are putting the very ugly marquee still present today. With this addition, we can now méguésiner outdoors while being sheltered from the weather. It's almost healthy! This is not sufficient to return the shops up to date and the decline continues for a good ten years.

Thus, the Plaza will become recognized as ...

wedding dresses,

leather,

the godasses,

rags,

wedding dresses,

rags,

prom dresses

the godasses ,

prom dresses,

the godasses,

and shoes.

In the last ten years, however, we saw develop a new kind of shopping. Searched a little more refined, specialized. The Plez revive it from its ashes? The geeks have found and storefront, and some shops will sell you the latest zombie film series E, Obiwan Kenobi action figure that you have searched everywhere for the next D & D scenario that you present to your friends elves and dwarves. The pigtail , charcuterie that befitted previously Laurier Street, was installed on the Rue Saint-Hubert. Pies and sausages are divine, the takeaway as well. La Librairie Raffin , recently renovated, offers a choice of various books with unparalleled service and does not belong to a monster sale as Renaud and Bray fire (or is it light and Renaud Bray?) All the same, to piss, Renaud-Bray has opened a branch opposite a few years ago. The clientele seems to have remained loyal to the local bookshop, one of the cashiers explaining that there had not really been a decline of goodwill. Young and new designers Quebecois also find their account, as Crazy Lily . This are mostly rags for women, so I can not stress the beauty of it with comments particularly exciting. Also, two craft shops flavored exotic discoveries while searching properly. Finally, as elsewhere, the stores at $ 1 (or the price of most items often exceeds the dollar) are rooted.

Still, the Plaza is the Plaza still is, and foremost, the Kingdom of the wedding dress. Moreover, an old lady sitting in front of the Jean Coutu who saw me and annoy me with my camera, asked of my escapades and told me how she bought her dress at Helen House and "shook hand to Mr. Green! "The West Helena could be found at any price ... unbeatable! I strongly suggest you France B. Pronuptia . Just to name a little douche. And in a completely different vein, and if you want to live the Plez bottom, find the store The Heritage . The look and models are ancient, it's like back in the 60s!

Finally, this day could not have been complete without ze ultimate experience! For the Rue Saint-Hubert, is also home to one of the largest catering companies in Quebec. There is therefore the first Rotisserie St-Hubert, now a delivery counter with a tiny dining room, cafeteria style. Although atmosphere is poor, it's St-Hub ! Worse of St-Hub , whether you type sauce or chicken, it's always comforting! So I typed a chef's choice with a traditional cabbage. What a great way to end my expedition on the Plaza! "Saint-Hubert, you give me a taste!"

I conclude with this jingle the pub for Plez, late 80s: "The Plaza St. Hubert, a street to be discovered!" And you is What the Plaza?

PS: Well, yes, I said, I'm not too foo-tag-string-of-emails-who-are-shit-mess, but every time I the read, I tell myself that I would like to discover a city through a blog as it is so tasty.

PPS: After I froze your ass for three hours and prepared to get down to writing, I realized that one had outdone. It had cooled a bit, hence the delay. 'Scuse it.

How To Win Mount & Blade

It does not change the world, except ...

Tuesday we were doing math.

The problem was:
Marco sells cookbooks to raise funds for an extracurricular activity. The sponsor that provides the books he sells $ 10.00 each and sold them at Marco amount of $ 15.75. Each time he sells 10, the sponsor offered a discount of 15% on profit from the 10th book sold. If Marco sells 33 pounds, what will its profit? "

rate: 18 students 24-

* * *
Thursday we were doing math.

The problem was:
"An old lady gets her hen eggs. Seven eggs obtained, there is always one who is wrong or broken. If she gets 62 eggs, how can she train dozen? "

Success Rate: 7 out of 24 students

Two problems. A mathematical concept similar but opposite: gain, loss. The first ferociously more complex than the latter. So why a lower success rate?

Answer: money is a delight! To hell with the commies, we, we want the ca $ h! Envoy , spit! Seriously, put the majority of children to problem solving when it comes to a monetary benefit for sure, and it's success. Take the same problem and change data for fish, vegetables or hamsters, it is the stampede. It's beautiful, eh , the values of our beautiful youth!

Besides speaking of money, I recommend reading a text to make you hair stand on end. Nathalie Elgrably - crazy in a changing world which is parallel to ours, to do doubt, that profit and studies on paper - has written some ideas on how to redress the situation of education in Quebec. Full of good intentions, the girl. My opinion? I've never read such a bunch of crap! Especially the one where she suggested that teachers receive a wage premium at the rate of success of their students. Hello? What andouille can still say in 2007 that the educational success of children is linked only to his teacher? Ben her, it looks! Well ... I would have had much to say about this text, but my esteemed colleague, Prof. Hidden , has already made a cons-depth expertise I invite you to read.

PS: I challenge you to find the answers to previous problems without a calculator! I will correct you on Monday. : O)

Peanut Allergies More Condition_symptoms

Girl or boy

schools where I taught have always counted on average 500 students. It is frankly impossible to clearly remember the name of each brat. No secretary or principal can not brag about it. Even in a class of 30, you end up being wrong. As years go by it confuses the faces, names like, brothers or sisters of former students ... In the context of a school constantly in turmoil, you need to do daily interventions with students that you do not know, so you have something. No "Ouch!" And "Thing!" Or "Toe-there"; it could bully the child. Poooooov '' tits-children!

So I, over the years, opted for the single "Boy!" Or "Girl!" Vomited with a stentorian voice that shook the walls. It is concise, efficient and no pejorative (unfortunately). And when there is more than a boy or a girl? you ask. Because we agree, it proliferates, these little beasts! I will answer this conversation school yard ...

Ti-Cul: Why is your name everyone "girl" or "boy"?
Prof. Cursed: I do not call everyone "girl" or "boy"!
Ti-Cul: Yeah!
Prof. Cursed: Nope. Do I call you "boy"?
Ti-Cul: Aaaah! No! It's not that I mean! (I love to pump, especially when it's so obvious.)
Prof. Cursed: Ben Kesse you mean? (I'm still more!)
Ti Ass: We're OK 500 students. You know the name of your students, too bad for those of other students of 6 ... too bad the majority of tanning. But when you're in the yard or in the corridor you're doing worse than the big eyes, you say "boy" or "girl" ... But it could be anyone! (Here's the advantage to taunt a little, their conversation is suddenly built better and clearer.)
Prof. Cursed: I do not need to know is which. They know themselves.
Ti-Cul: Huh?
Prof. Cursed: When I say "boy" or "daughter" is always the right person turns around.
Ti-Cul: Not even! (Translation: It's not even true!)
Prof. Cursed: Want to bet a duty?

(Parenthesis - The option "pledge of duty" is a special time for my students. I am the only one who can put the wager on the table. If I am correct, the student earns additional duty. If I'm wrong, I gave him a leave of duty. the very idea made to jump at the chance as a Jean-Marc Fournier on a dumb statement. Obviously, these moments occur only when I know I'll win. MOUHAHAHA! )

Ti-Cul: OK!
Prof. Cursed: Perfect , tope. (He does so.) the next student that I see doing a silly, I turn around and scream "boy" or "daughter". If it's good to be back, I win. If it is another, you lose.
Ti-Cul: Acc ... Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! (speeds are the same!)
Prof. Cursed: Ok, ok. But did you understand?
Ti-Cul: Yep!

It did not take thirty seconds an innocent in another suffocating in a snowbank about ten meters. I turn around, facing the wall, and face a "Waiter!" Felt good. When I return to the situation, not only the good student has recovered, but he is already en route to me, justifying itself with a string of various excuses. Winner: Prof Maudit as usual. Ti-Cul made a false pout of a sore loser and chose a spreadsheet as having supp '. I still lit on the miracle

- is the power of guilt, boy!

Writable Good Faith Estimate

Discovery

Good evening. Charles Tysseyre here. Tonight at Discovery , we immerse ourselves in the fascinating and wonderful school toilets for boys. A fantastic journey to the heart of a microbial world where our sense of smell is constantly on the alert.

Our adventure begins on the toilet seat, where small ponds lying in urine. In these pools, a menagerie born. A people of microorganisms that come alive in a completely different rhythm from ours. This fauna, however, is constantly in danger. The losses in life are as many careless souls they lay their sometimes rash. Fortunately, this medium has its own defense system: moisture unpleasant and unexpected that puddle. The rash, just introduced, gets up and flees the bench. And like his buttocks belong to a generous and responsible, this place hectic life can not be held sponge.

is at the heart of the cup that one can often find the primordial soup. Droppings, sometimes spread in layers, protecting a group of living organisms as surprising as nauseating. Despite its total inertia, this soup is easily defends himself by slipping off the smell in corridors around. Sometimes a brave but reckless adult decides to evacuate the broth with a stream of water connected to the same bowl. Therefore, two things can happen. According to the advanced state whether the stratification of the soup, it will disappear under the jet and allow wildlife to flourish - thanks a clever system of obstruction of water - in expands, even in the aqueous liquid, across the tiled floor.

Finally, it is around the bowl that is the latest discovery made so far on this jungle unknown male toilets. There, at a level where the human eye rarely deigns to ask, our sense of smell a reality reveals breathtaking. Decades of fine rain of urine wiped the molecular structure of the wall tiles and even metal surrounding. Shapes and colors are completely transformed. Nothing in these places if not survival a strange smell. Therein lies the essence of the latest discovery of the most celebrated scientists. Indeed, comparing the odoriferous chemical compounds of this environment, it was discovered that the smell was exactly ...

ginger biscuits.

There! It was all for this issue. Come back next week when we enter into the world very special snacks forgotten in lockers during the Christmas holidays. See you soon!
